The public information session is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Tresckow Volunteer Fire Company, located at 26 E. Oak St. in Tresckow.Representatives form DEP's mining program and the state's Bureau of Abandoned Mine Reclamation will be available to answer residents' questions, discuss what has been done, and what is planned to address the fire."The department has drilled 51 boreholes to assess the extent of the fire and formulate a plan to begin extinguishing the blaze.
