Taking your writing beyond books

If you would like to learn new ways to market your book, the Black Diamond Writers’ Network invites the public to a meeting from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 21 at the Tamaqua Public Library.Stephen Pytak will be speaking about hiring illustrators and musicians to create a soundtrack. Learn the process of making films online in order to introduce people to the world of your fiction. Independent publishing will be one of the topics.Pytak enjoys writing, publishing and making films. He is the owner of Mazz Press, an independent publishing firm since 2008. His novels include, “The .40 Caliber Mouse” and “Katrina Blues.”The group invites anyone with a passion for writing to attend. The meeting is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
