Nine defendants in driving under the influence cases entered guilty pleas in Carbon County court on Thursday.

President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II accepted pleas from the following:Glenn Gregory Galion, 47, of Jim Thorpe, was arrested on April 4 along Route 903 in Penn Forest Township by state police at Fern Ridge. A test result was 0.16 BAC.Nanovic sentenced him to serve five days to six months in jail, a fine of $1,500, and license suspended for a year.He will serve the prison time on consecutive weekends beginning Nov. 6 at 6 p.m., two days, Nov. 13, two days, and Nov. 20, one day.Tyler Ryan Forston, 24, of Philadelphia, was arrested on Jan. 3 by Lehighton police along Ninth Street. A test showed 0.22 BAC.Nanovic sentenced him to serve 48 hours to 6 months in jail, a fine of $750 and 1-year license suspension. He began the jail term at 5 p.m.Charisma M. Butchko, 31, of Lansford, and formerly of Summit Hill, was arrested on May 26, 2012, along Mill Road by Mahoning Township police. Given a test, the result showed the presence of a controlled substance. She was previously placed in the county's Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program but was revoked for violating conditions.Nanovic deferred sentencing so she could obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation.Terry Louis Kline, 60, of Souderton, Montgomery County, was arrested on May 7 along First Street in Lehighton by state police at Lehighton. A test showed 0.21 BAC.Nanovic placed him on probation for six months and ordered he pay a fine of $300.Jessica Mongi, 28, of Summit Hill, and formerly of Lansford, was arrested on Sept. 26, 2014, along Route 209 in Lehighton by state police at Lehighton. A test showed the presence of a controlled substance. She also pleaded to one count of endangering the welfare of a child. Troopers found her 6-month-old daughter in the vehicle at the time.Nanovic deferred sentencing so she could obtain a D&A evaluation.Wade Anthony Matika, 23 of Lansford, was arrested on Feb. 1 along Leininger Drive by Mahoning Township police who found his vehicle in a ditch and him asleep in the back seat. He admitted to driving the vehicle.Nanovic deferred sentencing to Matika could get a D&A evaluation.Barry Lee Ohl II, 38, of Palmerton, was arrested on March 2 at Second Street and Lehigh Avenue by Palmerton police. A test showed the presence of a controlled substance.Sentencing was deferred so Ohl could get a D&A evaluation.Lori K. Fatzinger, 52, of Jim Thorpe, was arrested on May 27, 2014, along Second Street by Lehighton police. A test showed the presence of a controlled substance.Sentencing was deferred so she could get a D&A evaluation.Larry Scott Heffelfinger, 52, of Lehighton, was arrested on Feb. 14 along Route 209 in Lehighton by state police at Lehighton. A test showed 0.13 BAC.Nanovic deferred sentencing so Heffelfinger could obtain a D&A evaluation.Each defendant sentenced must also pay court costs of about $1,000 and a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
