Several defendants entered pleas before Judge Steven R. Serfass in Carbon County court.

Jermaine Matthew Gonzalez, 22, of Jim Thorpe, pleaded to one count of theft.He was arrested by Jim Thorpe police for taking three Percocet pills from the purse of an employee at the Subway restaurant along Lehigh Avenue on July 21, 2014. He was previously placed in the county's Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition program for first-time offenders but was revoked for violating conditions.Serfass placed him on probation for a year and ordered he get a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow any recommendations for treatment and render 50 hours of community service.Claire Delores Wo, 40, of Lehighton, pleaded to one count of false identification to law enforcement.She was arrested on Sept. 10, 2014, by Lehighton police following a traffic stop. At the stop she gave a false name to police. She said her driver's license was under suspension at the time.Serfass placed her on probation for a year and ordered her to render 50 hours of community service.Danny Gonzalez, 43, of Scranton, pleaded to one count each of accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle, driving while operating privileges are suspended and stop sign violation.He was arrested by Franklin Township police for an incident on July 23 in the area of 2145 Pohopoco Drive. He was involved in a crash with another vehicle and then fled the scene. Police later located him and took him into custody. He has been in prison since the incident.On the accidents count he was sentenced to serve two to 12 months in prison, make restitution in amount to be determined and render 50 hours of community service. He was given credit for 49 days already spent in jail on the charge.On the other two counts he was fined a total of $1,025 and costs.Each defendant must also pay court costs of about $1,000 and a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
