A bid opening scheduled for this afternoon concerning the rehabilitation of four bridges on the Chestnut Ridge Railroad in Palmerton has been delayed.

A Horsehead Corporation representative said the bid opening has been pushed back to give bidders more time to get their bids together.The bid opening will take place at a later date.
