Brush cutting will cause lane restrictions on Route 145 for the next few weeks.

Work will begin Monday on Route 145 between Route 248 and the Treichlers Bridge, inconjunction with the Route 145 resurfacing project. The work will continue through Aug. 21.The pavement improvement project is financed with state funds from Pennsylvania's transportation plan, Act 89. The project includes tree trimming, road base repairs, road milling and paving, shoulder and guiderail upgrades and new pavement markings.Popple Construction Inc. of Laflin is the general contractor on the $2.84 million project.All work is expected to be complete in October.
