Carbon bail hearing held
Five defendants on bail on various charges in Carbon County had their bail revoked on petitions filed by the adult probation office for violating conditions.
Those who had petitions filed against them were:Zoey Bartenope, 18, of Palmerton, had his bail revoked for violation conditions with new bail set at $50,000, 10 percent. Bartenope was remanded to the county prison. If bail is posted, Bartenope must comply with all conditions set by the adult probation office in the pretrial services program. Bartenope can also be furloughed from the prison if entry is made to the Salvation Army inpatient rehabilitation program.Nicole Lynn, 31, of Lansford, had her bail revoked and reset at $2,500, 10 percent. If she posts bail she is subject to all standard and special conditions of the original bail piece and placed on pretrial services. There is also a zero-tolerance provision for controlled substances added to the bail piece.Mario Salvatore III, 25, of Summit Hill, had his bail revoked for violation of the terms of his pretrial services.Bail was reset at $25,000 straight cash. If he posts bail, standard and special conditions will apply. He must enter an inpatient D&A program within 48 hours of his release. If no bail is posted he can be released to enter an inpatient program if confirmation is provided a bed is available for him.Paul Walck, 26, of Lansford, had his bail revoked for violating terms of his pretrial services. Bail was reset at $25,000, 10 percent. If he posts bail he must complete a home plan before his release and is subject to all standard conditions.Shaun Mann, 20, of Lehighton, had his bail revoked for violating the terms of his pretrial services program.Bail was reset at $5,000, 10 percent. If bail is posted, he must complete a home plan before his release and is subject to standard bail conditions.
