Improvements continue to be made to the Bill Black Memorial Park in Summit Hill, thanks to the Summit Hill Recreation Commission and the Summit Hill Historical Commission.
Volunteers gathered at the park to observe the new water fountain purchased by the recreation board and picnic tables that are courtesy of the historical commission, complementing the newly installed recreational equipment (swings, climbing devices and sandbox toys).Among the participants were Suzanne Milkowich, chairman of the recreation commission, and Louis Vermillion, chairman of the Summit Hill Shade Tree Commission and the historical board.Jim Whitehead and Earl Henninger were praised for their work in installing the fountain.
