A-Treat grapefruit and cream sodas, as well as all the other flavors, will soon be back on the shelves in area stores.

The Jaindl Companies are acquiring the A-Treat® soda brand name, trademark, flavor formulas, and related intellectual property.

With production restored in Allentown in the coming weeks and distribution set for the end of August, customers will be able to find their favorite brand back on the shelves by early fall.

"Our ultimate goal is to keep as much of the production as possible right here in the Lehigh Valley. To do so we have entered into a co-packing agreement with the Coca-Cola® Bottling Company of the Lehigh Valley," said David Jaindl. "It is our hope to retain as many former A-Treat employees as possible."

Leading grocers have already expressed interest in getting A-Treat back on their shelves as soon as its available. Grocers include Giant Food Stores (Lehigh Valley stores), Redner's Market, Aharts, Tanczos Beverage, Link Beverage, and more.
