Individuals who are in need of community service hours are welcome to join the fair board members and volunteers on the following dates at the fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 1, 2 and Aug. 9.

Volunteers are reminded to bring paperwork requiring verification to each session. There are a variety tasks that can be performed to prepare for this year's event.For additional information, or in the event of inclement weather, please contact Bob Silliman, president, at 570-657-7129.The fair will be held Aug. 3-8 on Little Gap Road in Palmerton. There is a general admission fee of $5 per person for everyone 6 years and older to attend the fair.Admission includes musical entertainment.
