Lehighton residents who wish to learn more about the rules and regulations within the borough are in luck.

A public meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at borough hall, according to borough manager Nicole Beckett.Beckett said Tim Dow, the borough's zoning officer and building code official, along with Josh Esposito, both of whom are representatives from Barry Isett & Associates, will provide a brief presentation on the zoning and building processes, along with enforcement of borough ordinances.The floor will be opened to a question-and-answer period as well, Beckett said."The meeting is being held to better explain the building and permitting code process, as well as the rules and regulations of the current codes in Lehighton," Beckett said. "This is merely an information session for the public."Beckett said the public is welcome to attend this informational meeting.
