Care to make an assist for the Palmerton High School basketball teams?

Those who do should plan to go to the high school parking lot between 9 a.m. and noon Saturday.That's when the Palmerton High School Basketball Parents' Club will host a Dodge Booster Club Fundraiser as part of the PHS Basketball Team (boys and girls) free test drive.Sponsored by Rentschler Chrysler Jeep Dodge, Dodge vehicles will be available for parents, faculty and guests to take a five-minute test drive in. A brief survey will be completed based on the experience.For their time and input, Dodge will donate $20 to the high school basketball teams, according to Jim Nemeth, spokesman for the PHS Basketball Parents' Club.Nemeth encouraged people to "come out and support Palmerton basketball."Anyone with a valid driver's license, age 18 or over, can drive for dollars. The entire community is invited.Nemeth said a bake sale conducted by team members will also be held as part of the event.
