Locust Lake State Park beach in Barnesville, Schuylkill County, has been ordered closed.

Park manager Lewis Williams said the closure is due to high coliform levels in the lake.The closure is until further notice.On Wednesday, the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources closed the beach at Beltzville State Park in Carbon County to swimming as well.The beach at Beltzville reopened this morning.Last summer the Beltzville beach was closed six times because of high bacteria levels.
