Pennsylvania's empowered expert residents, Chuck Medellin, Joe Daniels and Susan Miller recently graduated from the PEER program for Hometown Nursing Center. The program involves classes once a week for five weeks and is taught by Eileen Barlow from the Schuylkill County Ombudsman office. Throughout the program,

residents are taught to resolve issues and concerns for themselves, for and with their fellow residents and with facility staff.
