A Palmerton man admitted causing extensive damages to baseball fields with an all-terrain vehicle.

Todd Alan Andrews, 21, pleaded guilty in Carbon County court on Thursday to a summary count of damage to real estate with a vehicle.He was charged by state police at Lehighton with driving an ATV over baseball fields belonging to Towamensing Township. The incident was reported on Feb. 2, 2014. Damages were estimated at $3,440.President Judge Roger N. Nanovic imposed a fine of $500 and ordered restitution for damages. Before the proceeding Andrews paid $800 toward the restitution as a condition to his pleading to a summary offense.He must also pay court costs of about $1,000.
