Maura A. (Raynock) Grega will be the keynote speaker at Weatherly Area High School's graduation on June 5.

Grega is the daughter of John and Eleanor Raynock of Weatherly. She graduated from Weatherly High School in 1982.Following graduation, she attended Allentown College of St. Francis de Sales and graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing in 1986.She began her nursing career working in the Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. She completed her master's degree in nursing in 1995 from the Johns Hopkins University.She has worked as a research nurse at Johns Hopkins for 25 years and has been a co-author of 45 research articles, on neurologic complications of cardiac surgery, published in medical journals around the world. Currently she is working on a longitudinal Alzheimer's disease research study.Grega currently lives in Baltimore with her husband, retired Army Lt. Col. Lawrence Grega. They have two children, Veronica and Alexander Grega.
