A major water line break in Weatherly had work crews battling frigid temperatures with help from Pennsylvania Department of Transportation workers.

The leak was discovered at the intersection of Allen Avenue and East Main Street. As crews from the Weatherly Water Authority and street crews dealt with repairing the leak, PennDOT workers spread salt in the area to prevent a build-up of ice.Residents in the Allen Avenue, East Main Street, North Street and Norman Street areas may experience low water pressure until repairs are completed.
