Candidates file petitions for offices in Carbon

The filing of nominating petitions on behalf of people who are seeking elective offices in Carbon County, its boroughs, townships and schools, continued late last week and Monday in the Carbon County Board of Elections.

To get a name placed on either the Democratic of Republican ballots for the May 19 Primary Election, candidates are required to get a designated number of signatures from registered voters within their party.
