February 12, 1986 Northwestern rolls to a big victory over Pleasant Valley, but a Bears' player hits a milestone during the Centennial League contest. The Tigers' Kevin Reinert scores 10 of his team-high 17 points during the third quarter to help his team pull away. The winners, which led by just six at halftime but outscored their opponent 36-13 in the second half, also receive 16 from Chris Schellhamer and 12 from Rob Seyfried. PV's John Konawalik nets a game-high 23 points and becomes the first player in Bears history to reach 1,000 career points.
