Kunkletown woman facing numerous charges in Mahoning

A Kunkletown woman is facing numerous charges in Mahoning Township.

They include producing false identification to police, possession of drug paraphernalia and motor vehicle charges.Jacqueline Homschek, 23, was charged by Mahoning police officer Jeffrey Frace as a result of a traffic stop at 9:45 a.m. on Jan. 28.The investigation is continuing after suspected heroin was found in her bra and a syringe was located inside her shoe at the Carbon County Correctional Facility.According to Mahoning police, officer Frace observed a vehicle leaving the Carbon Plaza Mall parking lot onto Route 443, traveling in the opposing lane of traffic.Frace stopped the vehicle and the driver identified herself as Amber Lee Rahmann and used a false date of birth.Police said a check indicated no records existed with the information she provided. A passenger in the vehicle also identified her as Amber Lee Rahmann but provided a different date of birth.Homscheck was transported to the Lehighton barracks of the state police and was fingerprinted for identification. The results identified her as Homschek with an active arrest warrant from New Jersey.Police said two syringes were concealed inside her purse. She was placed in the Carbon County Correctional Facility on the outstanding warrant.According to police, during an admissions search inside the prison, packets of suspected heroin were found in her bra. She also had two syringes, one of which was concealed inside her shoe.These items were turned over to the Nesquehoning Police Department because the prison is in Nesquehoning jurisdiction.Mahoning police charged Homschek with false identification to law enforcement, possession of drug paraphernalia, and several motor vehicle violations.A preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 11 has been continued and a new date is pending.
