Blue Mountain's Winter Festival, sponsored by Cooper Electric Supply Company, will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Sunday at the Summit Lodge.

Admission is free,Sculpted IceWorks will create ice carvings, with wood carving by the McGuire Concepts, snow shoe demonstrations with Eastern Mountain Sports, Tele-Skiing demonstrations with Blue Mountain.Food will be available for purchase.The USA Olympic Luge team will be hosting the 2015 Luge Challenge from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.Guests can experience the rush of the Winter Games by riding a luge on the only natural, East Coast USA Luge track that is open to the public.USA Luge Coaches will be on-site to evaluate each luge run and will be scouting for potential athletes.A fireworks display will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday.
