Snow upgraded to winter storm warning; 8-14 inches forecast

A winter storm warning is in effect from 7 p.m. Sunday to 1 p.m. Monday.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for snow.

There is a potentialfor 8 to 14 inches of snow.

Light snow is forecast to spread into the region from the west late on Sunday. The snow will continue through Sunday night and into Monday morning and it may become moderate to heavy at times. The snow is anticipated to end gradually on Monday afternoon.

There will be hazardous travel conditions on Sunday night and Monday. Monday morning`s commute will be particularly difficult.

Temperatures will be mainly in the upper teens and 20s.

Are expected, making travel very hazardous or impossible.
