Bring in the pets and let those faucets drip: The National Weather Service anticipates wind chills as far as 20 degrees below zero for Carbon and Monroe counties this afternoon through late Saturday morning, with winds of 20-25 mph, gusting to 50 mph.

The arctic blast may be followed by a plowable snowstorm Sunday into Monday, with sub-zero wind chills Monday through Tuesday morning, according to the weather service.AccuWeather is calling for 3-6 inches of snow Sunday night into Monday.Temperatures are expected to hover around 5 degrees tonight. Saturday is expected to be sunny and cold, with the mercury hitting about 20 degrees.Clouds will move in Saturday night, and temperatures will dip to about 12 degrees.Sunday is expected to be cloudy with 20 percent chance of snow and temperatures of about 30 degrees.The chance of snow increases to about 70 percent on Sunday night and 60 percent on Monday, with temperatures in the teens, then dropping to a bone-chilling -3 degrees Monday night.
