A man will face charges after a Thursday incident in Rush Township.

According to Sgt. Duane Frederick, police were on patrol at 8 a.m. along Bernhard Road when they came across a telephone pole that had been snapped in half.Police said they later discovered a vehicle parked in Quakake that had struck the pole.According to police, additional investigation revealed that Anthony Bumbulsky, 23, of Hometown, was operating the 2006 Ford earlier that morning when the incident took place.Bumbulsky allegedly left the scene and drove the vehicle to Quakake with major front-end damage, police said.Bumbulsky faces charges of leaving the scene of the accident.
