A one-vehicle rollover crash near the Carbon County Courthouse in Jim Thorpe occurred

this morning. The crash happened just after 7 a.m. on Packer Hill Road, which winds down from the heights section of the borough. The Chevrolet SUV, who was not identified by press time, was attempting to come down the hill when the driver lost control. The driver, was trapped inside the vehicle following the crash, according to scanner reports. The condition of the driver is not known at this time. Emergency crews from Jim Thorpe, Lehighton and Nesquehoning were called to the scene. It was noted that roadways were slick at the timeof the crash.
