A decision as to when Palmerton will hold its second annual Christmas in the Park event will be made at 9 a.m. Saturday.
The event is currently scheduled to be held from noon to 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the borough park.
However, due to the potential inclement weather that has been forecast, the Palmerton Holiday Lighting Committee may move the event to Sunday, from noon to 5:30 p.m.
Whether it's Saturday or Sunday, Santa and Olaf will be on hand to visit the park, and the lighting of the trees will be held at 4:30 p.m. For more information, call event chairperson Michele O' Neill at 610-737-4503 after 9 a.m. Saturday, or visit the Palmerton Holiday Lighting Committee Facebook page.
