Jim Thorpe Mayor Michael Sofranko announced that there will be free parking from Dec. 25, Christmas Day, to Jan. 1, New Year's Day, at all borough parking meters. However, the two hour parking limit will be enforced to ensure all residents and visitors may enjoy downtown Jim Thorpe.
