ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Authorities in eastern Pennsylvania say a woman died after being pulled from a second-floor closet of a burning home.

The Lehigh County coroner's office said 27-year-old Lisanne Chin was pronounced dead at the scene of the Allentown fire, which was reported shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday.Assistant Fire Chief Lee Laubach said crews encountered heavy smoke and fire from the outset, and they were being pulled back due to fears of a flashover when the victim was found. The blaze was under control in about 45 minutes, but officials said the home appears to be a complete loss. The cause remains under investigation, but investigators said the fire started in the rear of the house. An autopsy on the victim is planned to determine the cause and manner of death.
