Lehighton Bible Church

Lehighton Bible Church, Jamestown and Center streets, will hold a breakfast and Bible studies at the church with the Van Houtens on Saturday, April 26.There will be a special speaker and sing with Brother and Sister Van Houten on Sunday April 27.Weekly services are held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sundays. All are welcome.Trinity happeningsTrinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton will hold a 9 a.m. Sunday worship, which will include a Service of Healing and a blessing of donated prayer shawls. Interim pastor Rev. Guy Grube presides. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.Sunday School classes for students ages 3 through grade 12 will take place at 10:30 a.m.First Tuesday quiet communion is observed at 10 a.m. April 1.Wednesdays-in-Lent worship will continue through April 9. Simple soup supper will be at 6 p.m., followed by devotional at 7 p.m.Looking ahead to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 5, "Footprints in the Sand," a journey to the cross and beyond, cantata to be presented by the sanctuary choir, accompanied by full orchestra and harp.A free will offering will be accepted.Holy communion will be presided by the Rev. Michael Frost.
