The Carbon County Environmental Education Center is planning an open house from noon until 4 p.m. Saturday. The public is invited, free of charge.

The afternoon will include refreshments, freebies, facility tours and a basket raffle fundraiser. Drawings for a variety of themed basket prizes will take place at 3:30 p.m. Entrants need not be present to win.Staff naturalists will be on hand to meet visitors and answer questions about the center's facilities and programs.
