Schuylkill County commissioners on Wednesday approved the transfer of part-time registered nurse Ashley Janowski, Pine Grove, to full-time assistant director of nursing at the county nursing home at Rest Haven at a salary of $53,390, effective March 12.

They also approved the appointments of Dawn Jobrey of St. Clair as a part-time nurses' aide at $11.72 an hour, and Erin Vesay, Pottsville, and Sherry Krauss of Mertztown as part-time nurses' aides at the same rate.Commissioners also accepted the retirement of Ann Riotto of Pottsville from the district attorney's office, effective March 7.They also agreed to create the positions of a general office support person in the Human Resources office at an hourly wage of $11.09 and of a clerical aide in the district attorney's office at $11.34 an hour.Commissioners immediately hired Heather Greenhalgh of Pottsville for the job.
