A suspect is being sought in a theft incident that occurred in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred at the home of Mildred Marie Hossler, 83, of 143 Seven Stars Road in North Manheim Township.Troopers said about 1 p.m. on Feb. 28 a white male came to her home and said he could help her shovel snow from around the home. He then quoted her prices for the work. He then asked her for a bottle of water.While the woman went to the kitchen to get the water the suspect rummaged through papers on a nearby desk and took about $350 in cash. He then fled the house and got in a waiting pickup truck and fled.The truck was described as being blue/gray in color. The suspect was described as being in his 20s, about five-feet, nine-inches tall, slim build, wearing a beanie hat and Carhart jacket.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-739-1330.
