Phila. singer to perform at women's conference

One by one, the campers were reunited with their parents, who piled their luggage into waiting vehicles and headed for home. As the hours passed, it became obvious that no one was coming for one 8-year-old girl.

Turns out that it was really a lucky thing that her parents had mistakenly marked the wrong pickup time on their calendar. As the little girl waited with one of the camp counselors, that counselor took out her guitar and began to teach her how to play.Today, there are seven CDs of KJ Reimensnyder-Wagner's music. The Philadelphia native, whose family summered in Mifflinburg, will be the keynote speaker and entertainer celebrating International Women's Day, from 4 to 9 pm March 8 at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center. 125 Pine St.KJ, as she's known in the music industry, plays guitar, banjo, mandolin, lap dulcimer, autoharp, keyboard and djembe drum.
