Robinson's career night leads Millersville to PSAC East win over Bloomsburg

Millersville rode the hot shooting of Jim Thorpe grad Celeste Robinson to hand the Bloomsburg University women's basketball a 80-74 setback, in the PSAC Eastern Division opener for both teams, on Wednesday.

A Adrienne Sadowski bucket for Bloomsburg to open the second half tied the score at 32-32 before the Marauders went on a 15-5 run to open their biggest lead of the game at 10 points, 47-37, with 16:51 to play. Robinson hit two three-pointers for Millersville to put the visitors on top.She finished the game with a career high 25 points hitting 10-of-17 shots from the floor, including 2-for-4 from three-point range. Robinson also made three-of-four free throws and pulled down eight rebounds, had seven assists (career high) and three steals in 37 minutes of action.The Marauders (3-1, 1-0) play their first home game on Dec. 1 against Adelphi.
