Francis W. Wolman, senior vice president and senior loan officer of the Jim Thorpe National Bank, has been appointed assistant director of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association Advisory Committee for the PBA School of Commercial Lending. He will serve a one-year term.

Wolman will work with the School Advisory Committee to review the operational aspects of the school and evaluating school curriculum to insure it is relevant and meets PBA member banks' educational needs. The weeklong school attracts bankers from across the state and is conducted annually at Penn State Conference Center.A resident of Drums, Wolman has 41 years of commercial banking experience. He is responsible for all of the lending activities of Jim Thorpe National Bank and also serves as the bank's primary commercial loan officer.
