Elise Argall, daughter of Dave and Beth Argall of Lake Hauto, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in international relations with a minor in near east languages and civilization.

While at Penn, the 2009 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School served as vice chair of the Student Committee on Undergraduate Education, interned with the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security and volunteered with the West Philadelphia Tutoring Project. During a semester abroad in Rabat, Morocco, she completed courses in intermediate Arabic.Elise is the granddaughter of Lowell and Betty Koch of the Lewistown Valley and Arthur and Miriam Argall of Hometown.
