A number of teams posted recent wins during the Panther Valley Little League tournament.

Below are highlights from those contests.PANTHER VALLEY TOURNAMENT11-12 YEAR-OLDSTamaqua Blue-JT RedGreg Davis had three hits, one of them a homer, as Tamaqua Blue cruised to a 12-1 win over Jim Thorpe Red.The combined pitching of Scherer, Knoblauch and Moyer tossed a four-inning no-hitter.Tamaqua also received three hits from Breiner with Boyle adding two, one a homer. Scherer chipped in with two hits.Towamensing Blue-WeatherlyTowamensing Blue doubled up Weatherly by a 14-7 score.The winners received two hits from both Colby Kunkle and Brock Bollinger.FT Gray-Anthracite WhiteZachary Crum had three hits, one of them a home run, to help Franklin Township Gray gain a 14-3 victory over Anthracite White.Justin Ahner aided the FT cause with two hits, one a homer, while Gunnar Williams collected two doubles and a single. Earning the pitching win was Chris Whiteman.For Anthracite, Josh Robin hit a home run.9-10 YEAR-OLDSJT Red-Tamaqua WhiteTamaqua White rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to post an 8-7 win over Jim Thorpe Red.Logan Hess had three hits for the winners while Luke Verta had two hits, one of them a two-run double. Tamaqua also received a pair of hits from both Ian Davis and Justin Lewis.Tamaqua starting pitcher Josh Grim struck out six batters.Lansford-Tamaqua BlueCarson Krell had three hits and scored four runs as Tamaqua Blue rolled to a 22-1 win over Lansford.Alden Gilbert and Darren Staufenberger contributed to the victory as each had two hits and scored twice.For Lansford, Bryce Kropf had a pair of hits.
