Former SH resident earns Project Management Professional Certification

Effective June 2013, Major (retired) Robert F. Jones Jr., United States Army, currently a senior program analyst for Camper Corporation's, National Security Group - Threat Mitigation Division, specializing in national preparedness, homeland security and defense against weapons of mass destruction threats; earned the prestigious Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

PMP certification is globally recognized throughout the project management community and highly sought after by employers due to its stringent requirements, strict standards and intense training, all culminating with a comprehensive PMP exam.The PMP certification recognizes the competence of an individual to perform in the role of a project manager, with specific experience in leading and directing high level-complex projects. The PMP credential demonstrates to senior level employers, clients and colleagues that the PMP project manager possesses project management knowledge, experience and proper skill set to bring projects and deliverables to a successful on time completion and within critical budget constraints.Major Jones had a distinguished military career in the United States Army, serving in various duty positions and assignments including, 4th Infantry Division (mechanized), 10th Mountain Division (Light) and overseas tours. His education includes a Masters Degree in public administration with a concentration in business administration from Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville Alabama and Bachelor's Degree in economics from King, Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania.Major Jones is married to the former Lisa Zarra. They reside in Baltimore, Maryland with their two daughters, Katharine and Jennifer.
