You are invited to come "Under the Sea" and let the magical world of Ariel, a mermaid princess, unfold in the Pleasant Valley Middle School's musical production of "The Little Mermaid." You'll be charmed by all of Ariel's friends like Flounder, Scuttle and Sebastian. You'll understand Ariel's frustration (Brianna Cicalese, center) when her six older sisters can't understand why she would like to live in a world above the sea (left to right-Aquata (Rachel Strella), Arista (Michaela Caruso), Adella (Victoria Lindner), Alana (Elizabeth Larregrui), Andrina (DJ Greenzweig), Attina (Michelle Bernard.) You'll be enchanted when Ariel falls in love with Prince Eric and gets her wish to have legs instead of a fish tail. You'll root for Ariel to overcome the wicked sea witch, Ursula, who steals Ariel's beautiful voice. Will love conquer all? You'll have to come to one of the performances on Friday, May 10 at 7 p.m. or Saturday, May 11 at 2 p.m. or 7 p.m. "The Little Mermaid" is under the direction of Roxanne Scott and assistant director Rollene Gougher.
