Hearings on defendants brought into court on bench warrants were held in Schuykill County court.

Drai Franklin Miller, 21, Harrisburg, had his bench warrant dissolved by Judge Charles M. Goodman and the court found he was an absconder from justice for two years and is a flight risk and was remanded to the county prison. Bail was set at $15,000 straighnt cash. Hernandez faces charges of alleged simple assault and harassment of Kegan Bettinger, Tower City, according to information filed by Trooper Eric Reber.Michael A. Giannelli, 37, Pottsville, had his bench warrant dissolved by Goodman and he was remanded to the county prison without bail to be re-sentenced. He was originally sentenced on Sept. 2, 2010, by Judge Jacqueline Russell to serve 12 months on probation after pleading guilty to possession of a controlled substance. A bench warrant was issued on Aug. 8, 2011, when he was ruled to be an absconder in violating his probation by going to New Mexico.Craig T. Taylor, 23, Shenandoah, had his bench warrant dissolved by Goodman and his bail reinstated with stipulations he reside a 247 S. Wylam St., Frackville, an is not to relocate without prior court approval, shall not consume, possess, or transport any alcohol beverages or drugs, shall submit to random drug screens and must seek gainful enployment. A bench warrant was issued last April 10 when he failed to appear before a magisterial district judge for a preliminary hearing. Dudash.Hipolito Rivera, 41, Schuylkill Haven, had his bench warrant dissolved by Judge Charles M. Mller and he was remanded to the county prison until the resolution of the case. Rivera pleaded guilty in September 2011 to resisting arrest and was placed on parole. A bench warrant was issued on June 4, 2012, and he was declared an abscondcer for violating his parole.
