www.summithillheritagecenter.com.Shade Tree CommissionThe Summit Hill Shade Tree Commission will be conducting their annual Arbor Day ceremony and tree plantings on Saturday, April 27 at 9 a.m. The ceremony and memorial plantings will be held in Memorial Park near the post office. Anyone interested in sponsoring a tree to be planted in memory or in honor of someone may call John Kupec at (570) 645-9644 or Lou Vermillion at 645-9772 for information.Trees will be ordered in mid-April. Volunteers to help plant and clean up are always welcome as well as any contributions to the Shade Tree Commission's efforts.SHICO to meetThe Summit Hill Community Improvement Organization will hold it's next meeting on Monday, April 1 at 7 p.m. in the borough building.NesquehoningWoman's Club meetingThe Nesquehoning Woman's Club will hold a meeting on Monday, April 1 at 7 p.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church.
