Todd M. Dunlap, 212 E. Pine St., Mahanoy City, was granted a divorce from Michelle Dunlap, 618 E. Mahanoy St., Mahanoy City. They were married Sept. 30, 1995.Merle D. Dubosky was granted a divorce from John Joseph Dubosky III, both of Frackville. They were married Dec. 18, 1962.Drop chargesA charge of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol filed against Joshua A. Huegel, 133 Ash Circle, Andreas, West Penn Township, was nolle prosequi (dropped) by President Judge William E. Baldwin on a motion made by District Attorney Karen Byrnes Noon, who told the court she could not prosecute the case because the arresting officer, Tamaqua Patrolman Matthew Bynon, is deceased and he was the only witness in the case. Huegel was cited by Bynon when he was stopped on Feb. 12, 2011, on S. Lehigh St. near the Tamaqua Senior High School.A charge of simple assault against Crystal Yvonne Dunn, 45, of 408 Wiconisco Avenue, Tower City, was nolle propsequi by Baldwin on motion of Noon on grounds both the defendant and the vicitm, William Daniel Dunn, 45, same address, filed assault charges against each other arising from the same incident and both agreed to drop the charges. It was a domestic dispute.A charge of DUI of alcohol against Mitchell N. Motko, 44, of 221 E. Union St., Schuylkill Haven, was dismissed by Baldwn on motion of Noon due to prosecutorial discretion and that the arresting officer does not oppose dismissing the charge.Motko was cited by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman Gregory S. Meisner, when he overturned his motorcycle at the intersection of McKinley and Moorenoll sts. He had picked up the cycle and was ready to continue when confronted by the officer. There were no injuries or damages.RevocationsJonathan Ryan Dombrowski, 24, of 405 W. Mahanoy Ave., Mahanoy City, had his parole revoked by Baldwin.He received credit for serving 191 days but 244 days of liberty were dissallowed and added to his maximum date for release. The court announced it would not consider an application for parole for another two months.Dombrowski pleaded guilty last Feb. 22 to DUI of drugs and after serving time was placed on parole for five years.Sean Michael Mulligan, 37, of Bloomsburg, had his parole revoked by Baldwin and his 803 days of liberty disallowed and added to his maxmum date for release from prison. He received credit for serving105 days n prison and 104 days in a rehab center.He had pleaded guilty on May 28, 2009, to DUI of alcohol and was placed in the Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP) for five years. The court now relinquishes jurisdiciton to the Department of Corrections and Mulligan was remanded to the custody of the sheriff to be delivered to a state correctional facility.SentencedRaymond James Kline, 61, Hamburg, entered a guilty plea to DUI of drugs and was sentenced by Judge James P. Goodman to serve three to six months in the county prison and is granted permission to parcticipate in the work release program if he qualifies. He was also ordered to pay a fine $1,000, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education fund, $50 to MCARE fund, $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center - South, $204.76 to district attorney's office for bench warrant and transportation fees, enroll in alcohol highway safety school, perform 20 hours community service, and driver's license suspended 12 months.On a summary charge of careless driving was fined $25 plus $50 costs. Kline was cited by Trooper Vincent A. LaSelva last April 7 when stopped on SR209 in North Manheim Township.Christopher James Fox, 22, of 412 Hess St., Schuylkill Haven, who had entered a guilty plea to possession and sale of illegal drugs last November was sentenced by Judge Charles M. Miller to be placed in the state's Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP) on probation for 24 months, undergo therapeutic and outpatient treatments, and a period of supervised reintegration into the community. He was cited by the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force.Samuel Thomas Steffie, 41, of 600 Railroad St., Schuylkill Haven, who pleaded guilty to a charge of selling or furnishing alcohol beverages to minors, was sentenced by Judge Jacqueline Russell to serve 12 to 36 months in the county prison. He received credit for serving 26 days in prison. Steffie was also fined $5,000, and ordered to perform 40 hours of community service, a $50 monthly supervision fee, and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation. Steffie was cited by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman David T. George.Joseph Pangonis, 49, of 526 Laurel Terrace, Pottsville, who was found guilty of a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia following a non-jury trial, was sentenced by Judge Miller to serve 12 months probation, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account fund, a $50 monthly supervision fee, and obtain a drug and alcohol evalation. He was cited by Pottsville Patrolman Brian J. Reno.
