The Carbon-Schuylkill Industrial development Corp. endorsed a traffic study completed by the Carbon County Planning Commission containing proposals for construction of a bypass from the east end of Lansford in a northeast direction past the site of the former shop area of L. N. C. Co. at the north end of Lansford.
