Nine first time offenders in the criminal justice system were placed in Carbon County's Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition (ARD) probation program on Thursday by Judge Steven R. Serfass.

If a person successfully completes all conditions of the program their record will be wiped clean. However, if they fail to complete it or are revoked from it they will face trial on all the pending charges. A person does not admit guilt in entering the program.All were placed for a year, unless otherwise noted.Danielle Agresta, 38, of Hazleton, was placed on a driving under the influence (DUI) charge. She was arrested on July 22, 2012, along First St., by Mahoning Township police. Given a test, the result was .11BAC.She was assessed $500 for the cost of the program, and ordered to get a drug and alcohol (D&A) evaluation and follow any recommendation for treatment, license suspended for 30 days, and render 50 hours of community service.Ward Raymond Crozier Jr., 45, of Lehighton, was placed on a DUI charge. He was arrested on Sept. 9, 2012, along SR209 in Mahoning Township by state police at Lehighton. Given a test, the result was .09BAC.He was assessed $450, and ordered to get a D&A evaluation, and render 50 hours of community service.Kenneth M. Cush, 39, of Gilbert, was placed for two years on a charge of persistent disorderly conduct. He was arrested for an incident on July 1, 2012, along Bridge St. following a traffic stop in which he was a passenger in the vehicle.He assessed $450, and ordered to render 100 hours of community service.John Paul Davidovich, 56, of Lake Harmony, was placed for 18 months on a DUI charge. He was arrested on Sept. 15, 2011, along SR903 in Penn Forest Township by state police at Lehighton. He refused a blood test and will lose his license for a year for the refusal.He was assessed $600, and ordered to get a D&A evaluation, license suspended additional 60 days, and render 75 hours of community service.Ian Graham, 20, of Lehighton, was placed for two years on a charge of terroristic threats. He was arrested on April 3, 2012, by Lehighton police for an incident at the Lehighton Grove with Samantha Parsons the listed victim.He was assessed $650, and orderd to get both a D&A and mental health evaluations, render 100 hours of community service, and have no contact with Parsons or her family.Jordan Alese Grammes, 19, of Albrightsville, was placed for 18 months on a charge of theft. He was arrested by Jim Thorpe police for an incident on Oct. 11, 2011, in which Laurie Getz, of Laural St., is the listed victim and jewelry was taken.He was assessed $500, and ordered to render 75 hours of community service. It was noted restitution due the victim has already been paid.Terrance C. Moll II, 20, of Jim Thorpe, was placed on a DUI count. He was arrested on June 24, 2012, along Mahoning Street by Lehighton police. Given a test, the result was .21BAC.He was assessed $550, and ordered to get a D&A evaluation, license suspended for 90 days, and render 50 hours of community service.Thomas A. Wenger Sr., 25, of Andreas, was placed on a DUI charge. He was arrested on Aug. 19, 2012, along SR209 in Lehighton by state police at Lehighton. Given a test, the result was .13BAC.He was assessed $500, and ordered to get a D&A evaluation, license suspended for 30 days, and render 50 hours of community service.Stephen Roy Richardson, 62, of Nesquehoning, was placed on a DUI charge. He was arrested on July 8, 2012, along SR2015 by Franklin Township police. Given a test, the result was .15BAC.He was assessed $500, and ordered to get a D&A evaluation, license suspended for 60 days, and render 50 hours of community service.Each defendant must also pay court costs, which average close to $1,000, and pay a $50 per month supervision fee while in the program.
