Woman's clubThe Nesquehoning Woman's Club would like to remind the members and guests that a complete dinner will be served at the next meeting on March 4 at MapleShade Meadows Assisted Living Center. It is hoped for a nice turn out at the dinner meeting. There will be a choice of meat or fish as the entrée. Nan Kevilly is in charge of making the arrangements.All dues should be paid to club treasurer Ginny Novy by this time.LansfordSt. John LutheranWednesday Holden Evening Prayer Service with Holy Communion at St. John the Evangelist Lutheran Church, 1 E. Abbott St., Lansford, will begin at 7 p.m.For those who wish to come early, a free simple supper will be served at 6 p.m. followed by a brief Bible study at 6:30.For more information, or if the weather is questionable, call the Rev. Marjorie Keiter, (570) 273-4038. Service will not be held if school is canceled or dismissed early due to bad weather on Wednesdays.Summit HillHistorical museum meetingThe Summit Hill Historical Museum will meet tonight at 7 o'clock at the museum, 134 West Ludlow St., Summit Hill. The meeting is open to the public.
