All four local boys soccer teams recorded victory over the Labor Day Weekend.

Southern Lehigh bested the Indians for a 25-13 in the title match.Both Northwestern and Tamaqua finished pool play with no victories. Tamaqua fell to Schuylkill Haven 25-15 in the Silver Pool consolation quarterfinals, while Northwestern was defeated 17-25 by Pine Grove in the same pool quarterfinals.Panther Valley-WeatherlyPanther Valley walked off the court with a 25-14, 25-16, 25-9 victory over Weatherly.Richelle Van Horn paced the Panthers' attack with 16 service points, 11 assists, five aces and four kills, while Jamey Mikovich added eight kills, seven digs, four service points, three aces, three blocks and two assists.PV's Marley Mikovich contributed nine service points, six kills, four aces and three digs.The Wreckers' Samantha Hartz finished with six digs, one kill and one block, while Kirsten Ursta recorded two digs, two kills and a block.Lexi Hartz notched four digs and two kills for the Wreckers, while Shannon Sarosky added five assists.Northampton-Pleasant ValleyPleasant Valley defeated Northampton in four games, 18-25, 25-9, 27-25, and 25-18, in a non-league contest.Courtney Miller led the Lady Bears with 10 kills in the win, and also added eight blocks. Mackenzie Dorney had 12 digs and five kills for the winners, and teammate Kiersten Griesback chipped in 19 assists and nine digs. Katie Lenart also contributed 12 digs, while Ashley Rivera had eight kills and eight digs, in a well-rounded team effort.The Lady Bears also prevailed in the JV contest, 2-0.
