A man and his wife, parents of eight children, were found dead in their Tharptown home, victims of a shooting which State Policeman J.L. Hochreiter said remitted from an argument over a bottle of beer.

Hochreiter said the evidence indicated that Stanley Cerkulski, 53, shot his wife, Helen, 48, and turned the pistol on himself.The state trooper said his investigation showed that the man returned to his home with a bottle of beer in his topcoat, took off his coat and went upstairs. When he came down again the officer said, Cerkulski found the bottle of beer missing and an argument with his wife started.
