State police at Lehighton reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 1:08 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, along Kunkletown Road in Ross Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Alyssa M. Johnson, 18, of Kunkletown, was driving a 1988 Oldsmobile Cutlass westbound and negotiating a left-hand curve when she lost control on the wet road. The car went onto the north berm where the right side struck a tree.Johnson was not injured. She was cited for driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed, troopers said.
