They were married April 16, 1985.Guilty pleasJustin Michael Marx, 22, of 141 Coal St., Cumbola, Blythe Township, pleaded guilty to theft of machinery from a metal storage garage on property of Kuperavage Coal Company, East Norwegian Township.Judge Cyrus Palmer Dobin placed Marz on probation for four years and ordered he pay $50 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account, a $50 monthly supervision fee, and make restitution of $1,666.66 to the coal company. He was also ordered to stay off the property. He was cited by Trooper Scott M. Grochowski.Luis Anton Guadalupe, 25, Pottsville, on a charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, was sentenced by President Judge William E. Baldwin to serve 24 months to five years in a state correctional institution with credit for serving 198 days in the county prison and pay $100 to the Substance Abuse Education fund. He was cited by Pottsville Patrolman Brian W. Kotzmoyer.JailedLinda Lee Todd, 29, Philadelphia, was brought to court on a bench warrant issued last June 13 for failing to appear and Judge James P. Goodman dissolved the warrant and ordered Todd remanded to the county prison without bail.Todd had pleaded guilty in December 2010 to burglary of Smokey Joes Tobacco Shop in Ashland and was sentenced to serve six to 12 months in prison and she has to make restitution of $12, 820.Dismiss chargesNotified by victims they did not wish to proceed with prosecution, District Attorney Karen Byrnes Noon filed a motion to nolle prosequi the cases and President Judge William E. Baldwin handed down an order dismissing criminal charges against the following:John D. Conahan, 33.of 22 E. Union St., Tamaqua, who was charged by Tamaqua Patrolman John Morgan, last Nov. 20 with simple assault and harassment. The victim, Gary Nureck, submitted a written note to the district attorney that he did not wish to proceed with prosecution.The information filed to court was that Nureck was seated in a car at the intersection of Union St. and Rolling Mill Ave. when Conahan approached and struck him in the face.Nadine N, Mason, 29, of 319 S. Front St., Wayne Township, was charged with simple assault and harassment. The victim, Scott Michael Bowes, boyfriend, wrote to the district attorney stating he did not wish to prosecute because he provoked the altercation and they are working through it and doing well.The information filed to court claims he was struck on the head with a cooking pot and suffered a laceration.Set bailPeter Nathan Clive, 38, Saint Clair, had bail set at $500 cash by Judge John E. Domalakes with conditions that he must reside at 249 N. Front St., Saint Clair, and cannot relocate without prior court order, must remain lawfully employed, and attend all future court hearings.Clive faces a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol brought by Pottsville Sgt. William DeWald. He was placed in the Accelerated Rehabilitated Disposition (ARD) probation program but it was revoked and he now faces trial on the charge.Revoke probationJanice E. Metz, 33, Schuylkill Haven, had her probation revoked by President Judge William E. Baldwin and she was re-sentenced on a charge of theft of property and criminal conspiracy to serve six to 12 months in the county prison with credit for serving 64 days. She had pleaded guilty to the charges in February 2011 and was placed on probation.
