The 57 Hotel, Kunkletown, remains in rubble after a devastating fire destroyed the structure in the early morning hours of July 11. Fire companies from numerous counties battled the stubborn blaze for over two hours. The business had been a popular watering hole for area residents along with faithful customers who traveled afar for the refreshments and fine food. The business had been operating for over a hundred years.
